| THE OMOIYARI CAMPAIGN is predicated on one's conduct in daily life and within JCI activities based on the spirit to put oneself in another's shoes, so to speak with the aim of developing the ability to accept one another in a spirit of compassion. Furthermore, we aim to transmit the spirit of OMOIYARI to those both close by, as well as those living far away from us. And the final instance, our greatest aim is to transform the "Clash of Civilizations" which is characterized by territorial disputes, terrorism, torture and warfare, into a "Dialog among Civilizations" in the aim of the realizations of a true and lasting global peace, one that would be impossible to realize through the use of military force. |
