OMOIYARI Network Committee
In the world today, where conflicts from different national interests exist, there is a limit to what governments are able to achieve. To achieve permanent world peace which is one of the JCI goals, we need to establish the action of spreading the OMOIYARI spirit throughout the world so it becomes a firm movement. We will establish the OMOIYARI movement through joint development in the future through fostering truly global people who understand their own country as well as respect other countries at the same time.
In our country, in order to help the Japanese to become truly global people, we will develop seminars that will be handled by each local activity in each LOM. This can be attained by improving the program that can be widely practiced in collaboration with district and block programs. In each area of Junior Chamber International, we aim to spread OMOIYARI to as many people as we can. We can do so by establishing the OMOIYARI movement which will develop globally through flexible collaboration between COCs in each area. The programs will be adjusted to the characteristics of each area, and seminars will be held at times when members can easily participate. Also, with the goal of spreading OMOIYARI throughout the world coherently, we organize information of all people who became trainers until last year. At the same time, we will construct support structures for the trainers to stand on their own feet and to actively take initiatives in each area.
To make the program a JCI official program, we provide the programs at the 23rd ACADEMY where fostering true leaders is necessary since the future is in the leaders' hands. Moreover, to elevate the promotion movement to higher value, we aim to build the world's global morality by establishing the OMOIYARI-AWARD in JCI-Awards in collaboration with JCI.
Through the OMOIYARI movement, a JCI member will spread the movement worldwide with ambition and determination as a true global person. As a JCI member, we will seek common values and common goals from different national interests, and we will not be here only to discuss, but will actually attain world peace and stability by ourselves.
